Katie is the most dedicated property manager. She got our elevator fixed on a Saturday and dealt with a very reluctant Xfinity employee to get the Wifi and TV service for all three units fixed very quickly! We love Katie!

Our time at Grayside was the ideal beach experience. The elevated view of the ocean was a daily treat. The apartment is spacious and well appointed.
Location is perfect.

My parents and I have been coming here for many years, and each time is a treat. We lost my father last year. My 85 year old mother never thought she would be able to make the trip again, but she did and it was great! Carol’s Greyside II holds many memories for us!

We had another wonderful week at St. Simon's. We absolutely love Carol's Grey Side. It is clean and beautifully decorated. Golden Isles Realty is wonderful to work with. Looking forward to another week there next summer!

We love this beach house and have stayed there for many, many years. This was the first time we found the house to not be as clean as it normally is upon arrival. Dirty floors, dog hair on furniture , and the master bathroom floor was extremely dirty behind the toilet. I didn’t notice this until I pulled the trash can from the corner to empty it. I hate to even mention any of this but hope it will be addressed with the housekeepers.

My family has stayed here for a week every summer for about five years. Love the location and home. Beds are very comfortable and home decorated beautifully however the refrigerator needs to be replaced or repaired. Also each bedroom needs a television.

Our stay at Carol's Grey Side II was close to perfect. The house was clean & comfortable. The view of the ocean cannot be beat! The location was great, as well. The management staff made everything easy. We hope to make this an annual affair!

The roomy back porch was a favorite hang out spot with full ocean front views of dolphins, huge ships and beautiful sunsets. Feels homey, quality and quaint while providing ample space and comfort. We’ve stayed at Carol8s Greyside for 13 years and it’s a wonderful property. Location is superb. There’s been an upgrade in the kitchen amenities since last year. We’ll return with our family again next year.

Perfect. We have been going for years and it is always well maintained, well appointed, and perfectly located. Will continue to go as long as health allows.

Our 12th year staying here and it was another wonderful week. The house is beautiful, location to village is great and best of all right on the beach. I would recommend new mattresses in the room with twin beds as my family complained again about them, would recommend a queen/ twin bunk. Also internet connection was spotty.

Carols Greyside II exceeded our expectations from Day 1 to Day 60! Staying here was like being in someones home. Carol has decorated this condo beautifully, and the Golden Isles staff was responsive to our needs. We would happily extend our stay next year by a month ahead or following if this condo were available for us to do so.

We spend at least 1-2 weeks a year at Carols Grey Side...the location can not be beat! I was happy to see a few improvements this year, with new exterior doors and fresh trim paint. I would love for the mattresses to get upgraded...it’s never good to wake up to the perfect view with an achy back.

We have been coming to this unit for 15 years to vacation and spend time with family. Location is excellent. In my opinion... there are too many chairs in the unit for 6 people. I wish there was a little less furniture. Super happy with staff quickness in response to the oven panel going out and a clogged drain. It may be time for new carpet. We love the porch and the view so much! Look forward to coming back next year.

Very pleased with the unit. It was very clean and comfortable. Location is perfect - right on the beach, close to village and great restaurants! A little trouble with the elevator and one tub drain was stopped up! I would recommend the unit. Wonderful vacation!

I have been coming to Carol’s Greyside PH since it opened in 2006 and each year’s experience improves over the last one. Carole's decorating taste is impeccable. The upkeep here is excellent with a recent repainting and all new deck access door locking systems. This is a real home away from home. We look forward to opening the summer with 3 weeks stay. Undercover parking takes care of guests. We are within walking distance or a 10 minute drive to some of the finest dining in GA. On a beach within a block of the lighthouse we watch ships from all over the world pass in the canal just a few hundred yards from the third floor deck. All the shopping and Resturaunts are within a 2 blocks walk. A really great place to vacation!

It doesn't get any better than sitting on the porch rocking chairs looking at the tide coming and going.

Carols Greyside is a great beach house that is perfect for my family to enjoy time together.

We’ve been coming to this house for many years. It’s a place we recharge our souls at. It never disappoints. Carol is the consummate hostess !

Property was clean and well maintained. The porches are the BEST place to sit and read - positioned perfectly for shade most of the day. Location is perfect - steps from the ocean and just a nice walk to downtown. Restaurants were all excellent. Don't miss the ice cream store.

My family has been vacationing here since 2006. At high tide we are 20’ from the Atlantic Ocean - southern view. The weather is very consistent with the time and month we can plan and count on. This is perhaps the most solidly built structure on the island. Annual maintenance on the building and private floor elevators assures us of a very secure stay. Maid Service is performs an impeccable job between renters. The third floor Pent House is a beautifully decorated upscale beach front home with antiques, artwork and furnishings just made for entertaining or a very private quality of living. A spacious covered deck surrounds the south and east side of the PH and comes with cushioned chairs, rockers and wood benches for those who want to see the sunrise in the am and sunset in the pm. The kitchen has every amenity imaginable. Not withstanding home cooking, some of the island’s finest dining is within a few blocks from an 8:00 am breakfast of bagels & lox served with a Bloody Mary (don’t ask for spicy hot) to an early evening piano bar seafood Resturaunt that presents fish and meat dishes made famous around the world. And of course Brogans is still on the lighthouse park to serve a beach front quickie of burgers and fries. Parking on the ground floor of Carol’s Greyside PH accommodates six vehicles under the building. The management staff at Golden Isle Realty has answers for any question and 24hr service for any mechanical requirements.

We go to Carol's 3 times a year, and it gets better each time. The PH has fantastic new appliances, outdoor seating, etc. The location is literally 50 steps from the sand, and a short walk tot he pier...would be hard to beat.

Our first trip to St. Simons Island, but I hope it won't be our last! The condo penthouse was lovely and in a great location.

Carole’s Grey Side Pent House is a total experience worth the stay in and of itself. Finely decorated and thoughtfully laid out with spacious wraparound deck and a furnished roof deck with unobstructed view of open ocean to the East and South, and of Jekyll Island and the very busy international shipping channel to
Brunswick Harbor to the west and spectacular sunsets.

It was, and always is wonderful.

We loved the pent house, location, ease of arrival. Only issue we had was when we arrived late Sunday afternoon and went into the pent house, it seemed fairly clean. There were a few things that seemed off, but having not stayed there we just weren't sure. Ex. kitchen garbage was not empty. Used soap bars were in the showers and on bathroom counter, and the beds were made but not quite like they should be. There were no towels in bathrooms, but we found them later in closet. It wasn't until the next morning when the cleaning lady showed up that we knew it had not been cleaned. In fact, we slept in an unclean bed!!!!! Covid???? Seriously. We had to tell her to come back, because we weren't even dressed, yet. I probably could have over looked it, and actually did in that I was nice about it, but when I stopped by the rental office to make sure it would be cleaned that day, the young girl showed no remorse, except to pretty much say, "Sorry about that." I know things can get mixed up some times, and it did not affect our over all stay, but I just felt like during this time of a pandemic, that a little more concern shown would have been warranted. Once everything was cleaned, the place is fabulous and we really did love staying there.

We loved everything about our rental. We originally picked out and paid for another location but there was a problem and were given another location but another problem and ended up here. The company handled everything very well.
